Old Delhi

Mughal Emperor Shahjahan originated Old Delhi in 1639 which was formerly known as Shahjahanabad. Till the end of Mughal family, it remained the capital of the Mughals. During ancient times, the citywas known for beautifully designed mosques, beautiful gardens, and magnificent mansions of members and peers of the royal court. However, this part of Delhi has become very crowded yet it represents the heart of Delhi. Old Delhi's attraction lies in the Chandni Chowk area close to the Jama

New Delhi

It connects its recounted grandness with the present current time. It is a predominant traveler spot and moreover houses different theatres and attentions on performing expressions. India Gate -  



India Gate is one important monument to visit when on your tour to Delhi. It was built in 1931 as a honoring for martyrs of World War I and war in Afghanistan.

The war memorial is located at Rajpath. At Rajpath, the structure looks astonishing in evening lights. The gardens that line the structure are a must visit amid the tourism places in Delhi.

Red Fort -



A lively architectural attractiveness is a historical fort in Delhi, Red Fort which was the main dwelling of the emperors of the Mughal Family for more than 200 years. 
Built in 1638, it is an awesome wonder of Mughal architecture made of red sand stone. Every evening sounds and lights show are extraordinary attractions.
Entry fee:  Free for children under 15, INR 10 for Indians, and INR 250 for foreigners
Opening hours: 9 am to 6 pm. Closed on Mondays

Qutub Minar - 







Qutub Minar is One of the most attratcive places in Delhi, Qutub Minar stands tall with its 73 meter tall brick minaret. Built by Qutub-ud-din Aibak, the structure has five stories plentiful with etched carvings and scriptures.

Entry fee :  Free for children under 15, INR 10 for Indians, and INR 250 for foreigners
Opening hours :  Sunrise until sunset, Closed on Mondays


Jantar Mantar - 

 


Jantar Mantar was built in 1724 by Maharaja Jai Singh of Jaipur, Jantar Mantar is a tremendous observatory. Intriguing for their inventiveness, the instruments at Jantar Mantar can never again be utilized precisely as a result of the tall structures around.

Agrasen ki Baoli - 



Agrasen Ki Baoli, which is also called as Ugrasen Ki Baoli is one of the coolest spots to visit in Delhi. It turned out to be very famous after Amir Khan's PK movie and the other side is also famous for its haunted activities at night.

Humayu's Tomb - 






A world legacy site under UNESCO, the Humayun's Tomb was built in 1570 by Humayun's wife Haji Begum. 
It is unarguably a standout amongst the most stunning works of Mughal Architecture to which Taj Mahal owes its outline.

Entry fee :  INR 10 for Indians, and INR 250 for foreigners
Opening hours :  Daily, till sunset. Best viewed in the morning or a full moon evening.
